Big Waves Laundromat offers two clean, modern laundromat locations in Santa Monica and Mar Vista, professional fluff and fold services, laundry pickup and delivery, and commercial laundry solutions. We combine high-quality equipment, real local staff, transparent pricing, and a comfortable customer experience — all in one place.

Yes. Our machines accept coins and also support app-based payments, giving customers flexible and easy ways to pay. We also have change machines and ATMs on site.

Yes. Both Big Waves locations offer free WiFi, televisions or music, comfortable seating, and large folding areas so you can relax or work while doing laundry.

Yes. Both locations offer dedicated parking lots and street parking. Our Mar Vista location has a larger lot, while our Santa Monica location offers convenient parking for the busy area. Please plan your visits around less busy times or you may have to wait for parking or park a little further away.

All of our locations are open every day of the week from 5am - 11pm, with the last wash at 10pm. We are closed for Christmas Day and Thanksgiving, but are fully open on other holidays (unless specifically stated on our Google Business page).
Fluff and Fold Drop-Off (In-Store Laundry Service)

Fluff and fold is a drop-off service where we wash, dry, fold, and neatly package your laundry for you. Simply drop it off at either Big Waves location and pick it up clean and ready to put away. We have a 24-hour turnaround on fluff and fold. We may be able to complete the order faster, but we make no guarantees. Talk to the attendant in-store to inquire further.

Yes. We are happy to follow your preferences, including water temperature, detergent choices (when provided), and handling of delicate items.

In-store fluff and fold service is $2.50 per pound, excluding specialty items. Hang drying is available at no additional charge upon request.

Yes. Big Waves Laundromat offers laundry pickup and delivery service in Los Angeles, covering areas near Santa Monica, Mar Vista, and the surrounding Westside.

Yes. All pickup and delivery laundry is handled in our own Santa Monica or Mar Vista laundromats, never outsourced to third parties.

Your subscription is a membership that locks in lower pricing and exclusive discounts. You choose when and how often to send in your laundry.
Want flexibility?
Place orders only when needed. If you're on a delivery plan, schedule pickups as needed. If you're on a In-Store Pickup/Dropoff plan, simply drop off at one of our two store locations.
Prefer automation?
Set up recurring pickups (delivery plans only) and let your laundry run on autopilot.

We offer six membership options:
Three Pickup & Delivery plans
Three In-Store Pickup/Dropoff plans
If you enroll in a In-Store Pickup/Dropoff plan, pickup and delivery are not included.
If you enroll in a Delivery plan, you may still drop off at a store if that’s more convenient — the pricing remains the same.
Delivery plans are only slightly more than In-Store Pickup/Dropoff plans, so many customers choose delivery for the added convenience.

Family Wave: Unused laundry rolls over for 1 month

No problem — we’ll still process everything.
Any laundry over your monthly pound or bag limit will be charged at our standard per-pound rate for your selected service speed.
Example: If your plan includes 200 lbs and you send 225 lbs, the additional 25 lbs will be billed at the regular rate.

No. You can split your allowance across multiple orders throughout the month — whatever works best for your schedule.

No. We hang dry machine-washable items at no additional charge.
Our team will use best judgment on items that should be hang dried. If you have specific preferences, please include them in your account notes.

Extra care items are priced separately from regular per-pound laundry. These include:
Comforters, blankets, pillows, mattress protectors, bath mats, rugs, pet beds, and shoes.

Yes. All plans include dry cleaning discounts. You may send dry cleaning with your regular laundry; we just ask that you separate dry cleaning from washable items at pickup or drop-off.

You can cancel your plan at any time, but the second you cancel, you do lose all benefits.
If you want to cancel your plan, we recommend doing so the day before your renewal date so you can keep your benefits as long as possible.

We typically return clean laundry to you the next day. However, many customers prefer delivery later than our standard 24 hours and we are happy to accommodate those specific delivery date requests.

Not at all. You can simply place an order with us whenever you need laundry service. Of course, many of our business customers demand a regimented pickup & delivery schedule and our advanced delivery software allows us to accommodates both customer types.
